My small GrowlTunes patch (described here) made its way into official release of Growl 1.1.5:
I am happy to have contributed to such a great piece of an open source software.
Simply the most powerful metronome for iPhone / iPod Touch!
Ultimate metronome is not only time-keeper, but also a tool allowing you to write, practise and master rhythmic patterns. Patterns can be spread over multiple instruments and contain tempo changes.
Rhythm 2 is similar to original Rhythm application, but contains 100 completely new exercises which are much harder than those in the original Rhythm – mixed meters (combination of 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 5/4 bars in one exercise!), contains sextuplets, pentuplets and septuplets in addition to quarter, eighth, triplet and sixteenth notes, tempo in some exercises goes as low as 20 BPM.
For advanced players!
I use and love Growl! and especially the GrowlTunes plugin which shows you track info when iTunes song changes.
What really annoys me, though – when listening to radio stream, it shows “(null).” instead of track number and there is also only radio name, not song name in the recently played songs menu.
This is how it looked before:
