    Sadly every time I try to execute ics.exe I get a nice windows error “ics has stopped working” and it locks up, im assuming cause I am trying to do this on 64-bit vista maybe?

    Hi, make sure you have .NET 2.0 framework installed & copied iTunesMobileDevice.dll to the ics directory. It is described here.
